Australia score six tries against Fiji in their win in the Rugby League World Cup.

Australia have beaten Fiji in their Group A Rugby League World Cup match at Langtree Park.

Josh Papalii went over for Australia they as struck the first blow of the night. Johnathan Thurston then converted as the Aussies took an early lead.

They then took a firm grip on the match with the second try of the night, this time thanks to Darius Boyd from a Greg Inglis assist.

With the first half heading towards the 40-minute mark, Michael Jennings strolled over for another try.

Despite Fiji's best efforts, the Kangaroos took further control through Luke Lewis, although he suffered a dislocated shoulder in the process of crossing the line.

The Fijians struggled to impose their game on their opponents and Australia ran out comfortable winners.
