Leeds Rhinos have piled more misery onto the Bradford Bulls' season by beating them 34-16 in the Super League this evening.
The Bulls made a strong start to the match, scoring the first try in less than five minutes when Elliott Whitehead went over.
The Rhinos responded through Kallum Watkins, sending the two sides into half-time all square at 6-6.
The home side started the second half very strongly, and soon raced into the lead through another try by Watkins, duly converted by Kevin Sinfield.
Lunt touched down just three minutes later to open up a 12-point gap between the two sides before Zak Hardaker extended that gap even further.
Bradford refused to go down without a fight, however, and Olivier Elima went over to give the visitors some hope. However, a try from Danny McGuire just two minutes later restored the Rhinos' lead.
The Bulls responded yet again, this time through Karl Pryce, but a comeback with less than five minutes left was looking increasingly unlikely, and any hope was extinguished when Sinfield went over with just one minute left.
