Bradford Bulls have picked up only their fourth win of the season in the Super League with a 20-12 victory at home to Wakefield Trinity Wildcats.
Luke Gale added the extras to tries from Adrian Purtell and Tom Olbison during the opening 20 minutes to put the hosts 12-0 up before an unconverted score from Purtell saw them establish a commanding lead at the break.
However, Wakefield got themselves on the board five minutes into the second half when Jarrod Sammut kicked over after Matt Ryan had touched down.
Gale's penalty on 55 minutes then gave Bradford some breathing space as they entered the final 20 minutes of the contest, and they were able to stretch their advantage on 74 minutes thanks to another penalty from Gale.
Wakefield enjoyed a final flourish as Ryan's second try of the afternoon was converted by Sammut, but it was not enough to stop Bradford claiming the win.
