Brisbane Broncos beat Wigan Warriors 14-12 in the second match of the 2015 World Club Series.

Corey Parker kicked an extra-time penalty to give the Brisbane Broncos a 14-12 win over Wigan Warriors in the second match of the 2015 World Club Series tonight.

It took the Australian side just seven minutes to score the opening try as hooker Andrew McCullough crashed over unchallenged from close range, after an error from winger Joe Burgess.

Wigan hit back through Liam Farrell, who latched onto the end of a George Williams grubber kick to touch the ball down, leaving the score at 6-6 at half time.

After the break, the Broncos regained the lead when Lachlan Maranta dived over in the corner as a neat move found him free on the wing.

Parker missed the conversion, but slotted over a penalty just 11 minutes later to establish a six-point lead for his side.

The Warriors pushed hard in the final few minutes and took advantage of a Broncos error as Burgess ran the length of the field, swapped passes with Williams, and scored his side's second try.

Matty Smith converted to send the game into extra time, with the next score winning the match.

Both teams missed drop-goal attempts, before Parker successfully converted a penalty in the 90th minute.
