Justin Carney registered a hat-trick as Castleford Tigers cruised to a 32-6 victory over the Catalans Dragons in the Super League this afternoon.
Carney bagged his first of the afternoon after eight minutes before Kirk Dixon doubled the advantage, with Morgan Escare touching down for the visitors shortly after as the hosts boasted a 12-6 half-time lead.
However, Carney crossed for his second moments after the restart before Jordan Tansey and Daryl Clark added further tries to give the Tigers a seemingly unassailable advantage.
There was still time for the Australian to achieve his third of the encounter, and he did so on 77 minutes, touching down to seal a comfortable win for the Cats.
