Catalan Dragons have announced that Laurent Frayssinous will be their head coach for next season.
The 35-year-old, who joined the backroom staff at the Stade Gilbert Brutus after his retirement in 2007, will be the club's first French coach when he replaces Trent Robinson.
"It's a new chapter in the Dragons history with the appointment of a French head coach, but I think Laurent is ready," said chairman Bernard Guasch.
"He worked hard during the last six years and we believe that he was the ideal candidate to take the Dragons forward."
Frayssinous has signed a two-year contract with the Super League side.
