Wakefield Wilcats beat Hull FC 32-30 in an entertaining Super League match.

Wakefield Trinity Wildcats narrowly beat Hull FC in a thrilling Super League match that finished 32-30 this afternoon.

Hull started the match stronger than their opponents, touching down after just ten minutes through Wille Manu. Danny Tickle converted the try before notching a penalty of his own.

They went over again ten minutes later, this time courtesy of Brett Seymour who got up to convert his own try.

Wakefield got one back just a couple of minutes later when Dean Collis touched down, but Ben Crooks responded in kind for the visitors.

Once again, though, the Wildcats bounced back through Peter Fox, giving Hull an 18-10 lead at half time.

Hull began the second half in fine style, Kirk Yeaman touching down twice within six minutes of the restart. However, three tries in less than ten minutes for the hosts, from Paul Sykes, Danny Washbrook and Danny Amor, dragged them right back into the match.

Then, with eight minutes on the clock, the Wildcats completed their comeback through Ali Lauitiiti's try, giving them a 32-30 lead.

The result means that Wakefield stay 11th in the Super League table, while Hull remain in sixth place.
