Leeds Rhinos half-back Rob Burrow says he wants to finish his career at Headingley, claiming that it was a "straightforward" decision to extend his current contract.

Rob Burrow has insisted that he has no intention of ever leaving Leeds Rhinos, having penned a new two-year deal at the club.

The 32-year-old half-back, who has made 423 appearances for the Loiners, will now remain in place at Headingley until the end of 2017.

After guiding Leeds to six Grand Final wins, three World Club Challenges and also Challenge Cup joy last year, Burrow now intends to achieve further success with the Yorkshire outfit.

"Leeds is the club where I started my career and this is where I want to finish. There has only been one club for me," he told BBC Sport.

"It was pretty straightforward and I'm just excited about what lies ahead with this great squad we've got. As long as I'm playing and feeling fit then I'll keep going."

Burrow has scored over 1,000 points during his 14-year stay with the Rhinos.
