Hull FC coach Peter Gentle has blamed unforced errors by his players for Friday's defeat to local rivals Hull Kingston Rovers in Super League.
David Hodgson touched down twice at the KC Stadium as Gentle's side were beaten 23-10.
"Today we just had no direction whatsoever," the coach told Sky Sports News. "We lacked experience and we tried to simplify as much as we could to get through, but we've got no halves in the club available at the moment to steer us around.
"There were a lot of errors today that were unforced and it was extremely disappointing, we just can't find our way around the park at the moment."
Hull's fifth defeat of the season has left them in 10th place in the Super League table.
