Hull Kingston Rovers have beaten their local rivals Hull FC 23-10 in the Super League this afternoon.
A strong first half for the visitors saw the Robins take a 12-0 lead at the break following tries from David Hodgson and Josh Hodgson, with Craig Hall adding the kicks.
Hull FC started the second half well as they looked to overturn their city rivals' lead, as Ben Crooks found a gap to score the home side's first try of the match.
However, another try from David Hodgson, a Kris Welham effort and a drop goal from Hall ended the hosts' hopes of a comeback.
Danny Tickle scored a consolation try inside the final two minutes, but it was too late for Hull FC to avoid the defeat.
The result moves Hull KR above Hull FC in the Super League table.
