Widnes Vikings boss Denis Betts has lauded the resilience of his troops after coming from behind in the 32-18 win over Salford Red Devils tonight.
The Vikings trailed 18-14 in the final 20 minutes before Rhys Hanbury and a brace from Kevin Brown maintained the team's perfect start to the Super League campaign.
He told Sky Sports News: "It's a great start. We are only three games in but I'm happy with our performances and the resilience we are showing to get results after going behind on the scoreboard.
"We've got lots of character. We understand what we are about and keep working towards those goals. We know that effort is something we can't afford to lack."
Widnes face Wakefield Trinity Wildcats on Sunday.
