Salford Red Devils coach Iestyn Harris has admitted that he and his players have been left "devastated" after their narrow defeat to Hull Kingston Rovers in Super League.
The Red Devils looked on course for the points at Craven Park last night before Albert Kelly's late try earned Hull a 34-28 victory.
Salford have now lost nine of their last 10 matches in the top flight, pushing them down to 11th place in the table.
"It's very tough to take," Harris is quoted as saying by BBC Sport. "We worked desperately hard and showed some real desire to get back into it.
"We were looking strong and I thought we would kick on and sneak it so to concede from the kickoff, the players are devastated, as I am."
Salford have the chance to get back to winning ways in the league on Sunday when they host Catalans Dragons.
