Warrington Wolves booked their place in the final of the Challenge Cup thanks to a 33-6 victory over the Huddersfield Giants this evening.
The tie started brightly for the Giants, who broke the deadlock in the ninth minute. Scott Moore went over for the try, while Danny Brough kicked the extras.
However, Warrington were level after 16 minutes when Garreth Carvell claimed a try after a positive verdict from the video referee. Brett Hodgson scored his first points of the encounter with the resultant kick.
Ryan Atkins and Joel Monaghan added further tries for the Wolves before the break, both of which were converted by Hodgson, to put their side 18-6 up at the interval.
Hodgson claimed a try of his own in the 57th minute, which he went on to convert.
A late try from Stefan Ratchford for the Wolves ended the match as a contest. Once again Hodgson was on hand to kick the extras.
Warrington will now face Leeds Rhinos in the final.
