Warrington Wolves completely outplayed Widnes Vikings, winning the game 68-4.

Warrington Wolves completely dominated Widnes Vikings at the Etihad Stadium, winning the match by an impressive 68-4 scoreline.

Warrington took an early lead after just three minutes when Gareth O'Brien scored a goal, just before Matty Blythe's try.

Just three minutes later, Wolves doubled their lead thanks to Garreth Carvell's try and a second goal for O'Brien.

Warrington's dominance continued as Joel Monaghan scored another try on 12 minutes.

After 20 minutes, Widnes had barely made a mark on the game, with Wolves looking as though they were going to ease through the game.

Another try from Monaghan opened up another flurry of attacks from Warrington, with Monaghan himself adding another on 24 minutes.

Blyth added his second try of the game on 29 minutes, followed by another O'Brien goal soon after.

The half-time whistle blew to end a first half of dominance for Warrington, with the scores at 40-0.

The second half began with the Wolves visibly more relaxed, which allowed the Vikings to finally get on the scoresheet through a Kurt Haggerty try on 47 minutes.

After an initial relaxed approach, Warrington burst into life again on 59 minutes with Monoghan completing his hat-trick. Minutes later, Blythe scored another try before O'Brien hit another over to extend the lead.

Stefan Ratchford got in on the act, scoring a try on 66 minutes and, two minutes later, Ben Currie added another before O'Brien converted successfully once more.

Monaghan scored another, with O'Brien converting afterwards just before the final whistle.

The final whistle blew, securing a completely dominant 68-4 win for Warrington Wolves over Widnes Vikings.
