Widnes Vikings coach Denis Betts has insisted that his side will be up for the challenge of taking on derby rivals Warrington Wolves next week.
Despite suffering a heavy 36-6 defeat at the hands of Salford Red Devils on Friday, the Chemics advanced through to the playoffs for the first time.
"We will be a different team next week. We've already spoken about that in the changing rooms tonight," Betts told the club's official website.
"We will rise to the occasion as it's the semi-finals, but our standards have to be there every week – that's our next level and to do that week in week out. We need to find that level of consistency."
Stef Marsh is a major doubt for Widnes heading into Saturday's encounter having limped off against Salford with a calf injury.
