Widnes Vikings forward Ben Kavanagh has signed a new deal with the Super League club.
The 26-year-old Scot, who joined the Vikings in 2008, has penned a two-year extension at the Select Security Stadium.
"Ben's been in our thoughts throughout the process of signing and retaining players," coach Denis Betts said in a statement.
"He's a player who has established himself in the Scotland squad and he had a great World Cup but also there's still a lot of potential in him."
Widnes continue their Super League campaign on Friday when they entertain Wakefield Trinity Wildcats.
