Wigan Warriors head coach Shaun Wane has described their 58-16 Super League loss to Catalans Dragons as "one of the worst" days during his time in charge.
Fouad Yaha and Tony Gigot both scored hat-tricks as Wigan capitulated away from home once again this season.
"It was a bad day at the office today, one of the worst," Wane told reporters.
"We were beaten by a far better team, they were more enthusiastic and ran hard and we weren't up for the physical battle today. You can't do that when you come here, you have to come here and be physical with them and we weren't.
"We were ill-disciplined and were really, really poor. We weren't getting tight in contact and it is refereed a different way over here, there is no doubt about that, but we know what we're dealing with over here and we just weren't up for the physical battle."
The Warriors are currently third in the Super League table, but have won just one game out of seven away from the DW Stadium.
