Sam Tomkins scored a hat-trick of tries as Wigan Warriors easily beat Salford City Reds in their opening match of the Super League season.
The reigning Man of Steel got the visitors off the mark early on in the first half, with Matty Smith and Josh Charnley adding tries before half time.
The hosts had a chance to get back into the match early on in the second half, when Gil Dudson was shown a yellow card for a hand in the tackle.
However, Salford offered little defence against their opponents after the break, as the Warriors ran in five more tries, including a further two for Tomkins.
The win ensures that Wigan will top the Super League table.
