British and Irish Lions head coach Warren Gatland has insisted that he is "very pleased" with his side following their 69-17 win over Western Force.
The Lions ran in nine tries in Perth on Wednesday to claim a first victory of their tour on Australian soil.
"It was a good workout, particularly for those having their first starts," Gatland told Sky Sports News. "The guys are still tired by the flight but are getting up to speed quickly with their preparation. But it was good and overall I'm very pleased."
The Lions continue their campaign on Saturday when they take on Queensland Reds.
