British and Irish Lions winger Sean Maitland has expressed his excitement ahead of the side's tour of Australia this summer.
The Scotland international is among the party that will board the plane on Monday ahead of flying to Hong Kong where they will face the Barbarians on Saturday.
Having trained intensively for the past two weeks, Maitland admits that he cannot wait for the tour to get underway.
"We are pretty clear on how we want to play the game and the first game is going to be really exciting to see it all come together," Maitland told Sky Sports News.
"It will be good if I get the opportunity but there is obviously a lot of competition. All the boys, I am sure, will have a lot of opportunities to prove themselves before the first Test."
The Lions face Australia for the first time on June 22.
