England's Dan Norton has insisted that his side will be ready to face Australia when they meet in the penultimate game of day one in the Commonwealth Games rugby sevens.
Australia made a strong start to their campaign with convincing victories over Sri Lanka and Uganda, but England responded with a 57-0 win against the Sri Lankans in their opening game.
Norton admitted that he was yet to see the Aussies in action at Ibrox, but is confident that the men behind the scenes will let them know what they are up against.
When asked if he had kept an eye on Australia, Norton told Sports Mole: "Not yet, but we've got an analysis team that are doing the work on everything, so we'll come to that when it comes to the third game."
England bettered Australia's winning margin against Sri Lanka by two points in their curtain raiser, but Norton insists that his side did not have one eye on outshining their rivals.
"No, not at all. We're just looked after ourselves and getting our own game plan. That was what we set out [to do]," he added.
England will face Uganda in the evening session before taking on Australia.
