Danny Cipriani has revealed that England boss Stuart Lancaster has offered him some words of "encouragement" as the Sale Sharks fly-half looks to return to the international set-up.
The 25-year-old struggled for his new club after joining from Melbourne Rebels in the summer, but he has impressed in recent weeks.
"I spoke to England head coach Stuart Lancaster recently and he has given me some encouragement. He's planning an extended squad for the summer tour of Argentina and it remains my dream to play again for England," he told The Sun.
"It all depends on how I play for Sale. We are still at the wrong end of the table but what matters is that we pull clear."
Cipriani won the last of his seven England caps in November 2008.
