Stuart Lancaster has said that England's 38-21 win over New Zealand was more convincing than he had expected.
England curtailed an All Blacks comeback by scoring three tries in 10 minutes to seal the win this afternoon.
The coach told Sky Sports News: "To put a scoreline on a side as good as New Zealand is way beyond what we hoped for.
"We were disappointed of course with the last two defeats but you just got the sense in the last week that we building towards something special. I'm so pleased for the boys that they got it.
"I'm chuffed for the boys. We've all copped it in the last few weeks but they are the ones who have put the graft in."
England's autumn campaign started with a win over Fiji, before defeats by Australia and South Africa.
