England coach Stuart Lancaster has yet to make a decision on who will be captain for the autumn internationals.
Harlequins flanker Chris Robshaw skippered England during the Six Nations and summer tour to South Africa, but Lancaster has revealed that he isn't guaranteed to keep the armband.
"Chris has done a fantastic job, but we haven't decided on the captain yet," Lancaster admitted.
"We'll sit down when we meet in camp [at the end of October], look at who's available and their form and fitness.
"It's too early to say 'This guy is going to be captain'. There's no reason why he (Robshaw) wouldn't be strongly considered for the autumn."
Lancaster was confirmed as the permanent England coach in March after acting as caretaker following Martin Johnson's resignation.
