Saracens boss Mark McCall has insisted that England coach Stuart Lancaster should recall David Strettle after the winger's hat-trick in his club's 34-28 victory over London Wasps yesterday.
The 31-year-old has 14 caps for England, but has not featured since June 2013.
"There are a lot of wingers who Stuart [Lancaster, England coach,] has used over the last 18 months," McCall told reporters.
"But David's try-scoring record has been as good as anybody's and he took his tries really well out there."
Strettle scored 11 tries in the Aviva Premiership last season, second only to Vereniki Goneva, scorer of a hat-trick himself on the opening weekend of the season for Leicester Tigers.
