England centre Shontayne Hape has admitted that a small number of players have let the squad down at the World Cup.
James Haskell, Dylan Hartley and Chris Ashton were all forced to apologise following inappropriate comments made to a female hotel worker, while Mike Tindall's conduct has come under scrutiny following the release of CCTV footage.
However, 30-year-old Hape has moved to play down the criticism being aimed at some of his teammates.
"A couple of the guys have let the squad down but it's not like anyone killed anyone," said Hape. "We want to focus on the rugby."
New Zealand-born Hape could reportedly start during England's quarter-final match against France if Tindall fails to recover from injury.
