Harlequins number eight Nick Easter has expressed his desire to earn a recall to the international squad for this year's Six Nations.
Stuart Lancaster's side get their campaign underway against Wales at the Millennium Stadium on February 6 but will find themselves without regular number eight Ben Morgan, who has been ruled out with a broken leg.
Easter has not featured for his country since 2011, but believes that he can "100%" still do a job for England.
"If you're looking for hunger then you need not look any further," the 36-year-old told BBC Radio 5 live.
"I know 100% I can [still do a job] and I'm desperate to as well. I think I have more reason than any other, considering how the last World Cup went. It's been a driving force for me."
Easter won 47 caps for England between 2007 and 2011 and has been in good form for Harlequins this season.
