England head coach Stuart Lancaster has insisted that he is happy to field uncapped players for Saturday's Six Nations opener against France in Paris.
Jack Nowell, Anthony Watson and Luther Burrell are all expected to start at the Stade de France as the visitors deal with various injury problems in their squad.
"I've never shied away from giving people without much experience opportunities. At some point you have to do it," BBC Sport quotes him as saying.
"There is a balance to strike, but I've always been reasonably confident to pick inexperienced players if I feel they're ready."
England last won the Six Nations back in 2011.
