England coach Stuart Lancaster has claimed that Mike Brown has looked "exceptional" in training following his return to full fitness.
The full-back has been named in the team for Saturday's Six Nations clash with Scotland after concussion forced him to miss their defeat to Ireland last time out.
While he admits that it was the right decision to leave Brown out of the Ireland game, Lancaster is pleased that the 29-year-old is now available to him again.
"It was a bad injury, a bad knock to his head and it was definitely right not to include him in Ireland game. We had to do the right thing for him," he told reporters. "But he was exceptional in training today and he will be ready for Saturday's match."
Brown has won 35 caps for England since 2007.
