England forwards coach Graham Rowntree has claimed that the team can earn a heavy victory over Scotland in the Six Nations if they play to their potential.
Following a 19-9 defeat to Ireland last time out, Stuart Lancaster's side must beat the winless Scots at Twickenham Stadium on Saturday to keep alive their hopes of lifting the trophy.
While he expects Scotland to provide tough opposition for England, Rowntree believes that the hosts can run out comfortable winners with a strong performance.
"If we get our game right, then we can win by many," he is quoted as saying by BBC Sport. "We are planning for a backlash from Scotland, and they should be planning on one from us."
Scotland have lost all three of their Six Nations games so far this year, with their last defeat coming at home to Italy.
