Fiji flanker Dominiko Waqaniburotu has been handed a one-week suspension after admitting to an act of foul play during the team's defeat to England at the Rugby World Cup.
The 29-year-old, who appeared before an independent judicial officer earlier today, was judged to have committed a tip tackle on Jonny May during the 35-11 loss at Twickenham on Friday.
The IRB has announced that Waqaniburotu will miss the next week, ruling him out of the team's game against Australia on Wednesday, but he will be eligible to return against Wales on October 1.
The offence usually carries a lower end suspension of two weeks, but the flanker's admission and a lack of aggravating factors saw him handed a shorter ban.
