France's quest for a Six Nations Grand Slam has been dealt a blow with the news that hooker Benjamin Kayser will miss the rest of the campaign with a knee injury.
The 29-year-old, who started Les Bleus' opening-day victory over England earlier this month, sustained the knock in Clermont Auvergne's 16-13 defeat at Grenoble on Friday evening, and the club have confirmed the extent of his injury in a statement.
It read: "Kayser sustained a partial ligament rupture in the right knee and will be sidelined for up to six weeks."
France will be hoping to keep their campaign on track as they face Wales in Cardiff on Friday night.
