Jamie Heaslip has said that Ireland can be "really proud" of their performances in this year's Autumn Internationals.
The Six Nations champions secured a narrow 26-23 win over Australia this evening to complete their first unbeaten Autumn series since 2006.
The number eight told Sky Sports News: "[That was] one of the fastest games I've probably played in a long time. We got a great start and then let them back into the game.
"Australia have showed they're a fast tempo side, but lots of pressure from us to get in the right areas late and hold them off.
"Whatever confidence we have [coach] Joe Schmidt will probably take it apart come the Christmas camp. But we can be really proud of those three performances this autumn."
Ireland's recent run has moved them up to third in the world rankings.
