Paul O'Connell has insisted that he and Ireland are not worrying about their World Cup chances, despite losing two games in a row, against Wales and England.
Captain O'Connell scored Ireland's try against England earlier today but it was not enough as they went down 21-13.
"We started poorly, we kept dropping the ball, and you cannot accumulate those sorts of losses and expect to do well," O'Connell told Sky Sports.
"Alarm bells are not ringing, but we are very disappointed, we have fallen short of a lot of things we want to do in the last three games."
Ireland's first Pool D match will be against Canada at the Millennium Stadium on September 19.
