Experienced wing Andrew Trimble has been left out of Ireland's squad for the Rugby World Cup.
The 30-year-old made his comeback from a toe injury during the team's win over Wales last month, but a recurrence of the problem saw him forced off in Cardiff.
Veteran centre Gordon D'Arcy has also missed out on a place in Joe Schmidt's 31-man party. The 35-year-old has likely played his last game for Ireland after announcing that he would be retiring at the end of the World Cup.
Cian Healy has been named in the squad despite a lack of action in recent months after undergoing neck surgery, while Keith Earls will also be going to the tournament following his recent return to the set-up.
