Robbie Henshaw has insisted that Ireland are "100% focused" on beating Scotland ahead of this weekend's finely-balanced Six Nations finale.
Ireland's 23-16 defeat to Wales on Saturday ended their Grand Slam hopes and meant that both teams, as well as England, have a realistic chance of winning the title, although it is likely to come down to points difference.
However, the Connacht centre has stressed that the defending champions cannot afford to look beyond simply beating winless Scotland, who gave England a run for their money at Twickenham in their last outing.
"We're not looking at points difference - we're just concentrating on the game and trying to get a result," Henshaw is quoted by BBC Sport as saying. "We are determined to put in a good performance after letting ourselves down a bit in Cardiff."
"The Scots put it up to England at Twickenham and went close to turning them over, so we need to be 100% focused."
England currently top the Six Nations table on point difference, but have arguably the most difficult final fixture as they host France.
