Munster kicked a drop goal in the final minute of their European Rugby Champions Cup match against Sale Sharks to clinch a 27-26 win this afternoon.
After Dave Kilcoyne put the Irish side ahead early on, a flurry from the hosts resulted in tries for Magnus Lund and Johnny Leota, leaving them 23-7 up at the break.
Andrew Conway got Munster back into contention early in the second half, marking his European debut with a try after a strong spell from the team.
Conor Murray continued the visitors' comeback when he collected the ball out wide from Ian Keatley before diving over in the corner.
Danny Cipriani extended Sale's lead with a penalty, but Keatley added a penalty himself inside the final 10 minutes before kicking the winning points with a drop goal in the 80th minute, sealing the victory for Munster.
