Sonny Bill Williams has announced that he will return to rugby union in 2015.
The 28-year-old will see out his contract with NRL side Sydney Roosters before re-joining Super Rugby side Waikato Chiefs on a two-year deal.
Williams, who played 19 Tests for New Zealand during a five-year stint in union, will now be considered for selection in the 2015 World Cup after playing such a big part in the Kiwis' recent run to the Rugby League World Cup final.
He was part of the 2011 All Blacks team that win the trophy on home soil, before switching back to League rugby with the Roosters in 2013.
