New Zealand coach Steve Hansen has revealed that he backs winger Waisake Naholo's use of alternative medicine to heal his broken leg.
Naholo claimed earlier this week that he was hopeful of being fit for the Rugby World Cup after undergoing traditional treatment in Fiji.
The 24-year-old broke his leg on his Test debut for the All Blacks against Argentina on July 17.
"If it works, I'm a believer," Hansen is quoted as saying by ESPN. "I don't care what he's doing. If it's making him think he will get better and he does get better, then we have one more person we can select."
New Zealand are back in action on Saturday when they face Australia in Auckland for the Bledisloe Cup.
