New Zealand half-back Aaron Smith has admitted that he is "pretty excited" to be training with the All Blacks in the build up to their opening match at the Rugby World Cup.
The 26-year-old has made 41 appearances for his national side since making his debut in 2012, but has never played in a World Cup before.
Smith told reporters: "It's crazy, I've been in London three days now and I've seen more Kiwis than English people.
"We haven't even touched a ball yet so I'm getting pretty excited to get out there and train and then hopefully get in there and get a game.
"Ever since we landed, having our capping ceremony, it's all been amazing and it's only going to get better. This is the pinnacle for a rugby player and it's just so good to be part of it."
New Zealand begin the defence of their title against Argentina on Sunday.
