Munster prop BJ Botha has been ruled out for a month after sustaining a torn calf during his side's friendly encounter against Wasps on Friday evening.
The injury could now see the South African miss five of Munster's RaboDirect PRO 12 fixtures.
"Munster today confirmed that prop BJ Botha will be sidelined for up to a month following a calf injury he sustained in Friday's clash with London Wasps at Musgrave Park," read a statement on the club's website.
The 31-year-old joined the Red Army from Ulster this summer.
