Dai Young has been revealed as London Wasps’ new director of rugby.
The former Cardiff Blues boss takes up his four-year contract in July, when he will oversee a squad featuring over ten new players.
"This is an enormous opportunity for me. I loved my time at Cardiff but I'm looking forward to a new experience in a new environment," Young said of his appointment.
"There is a hugely talented group of players here to work with and the challenge to help a great club into a position where they are once again challenging for success was too good to turn down."
The 43-year-old has presided over Cardiff Blues for the past nine seasons, leading them to Amlin Challenge Cup and EDF Energy Cup victories during his tenure.
He replaces Tony Hanks in the role, while Hanks has expressed an interest in moving in the opposite direction.
