Richard Shuttleworth has been appointed as the new professional coach development manager of the Rugby Football Union.
Shuttleworth, who had been working with the Australian Institute of Sport since 2007, admitted his delight after accepting the role.
"I am very excited to take on this role at such an exciting time for English rugby," he told Eurosport.
"I am motivated to help coaches develop, innovate and optimise new and existing tools and strategies to enhance both the learning and performance of their players, and I bring a huge passion for learning and skill acquisition to what I do."
Shuttleworth replaces Nigel Redman, who joined Worcester as a coach earlier this year.
