Newport Gwent Dragons secured their second consecutive win in the Amlin Challenge Cup with a 23-13 victory over French side Perpignan at Rodney Parade.
The hosts touched down twice in the opening 25 minutes, with Lewis Evans and Adam Jones scoring the tries. Jason Tovey kicked the extras for each score and also added a penalty of his own to put the Dragons 17-0 ahead.
Penalty kicks from James Hook either side of the break got the visitors back in the match, but two drop goals from Tovey extended the Welsh side's lead once more.
Adriend Plante scored the away side's only try of the match in the dying minutes, with Hook's successful conversion the final act of the match.
