Georgia winger Lekso Gugava has been cited for a dangerous tackle during his side's 25-7 defeat to Argentina on Sunday.
Gugava has been accused of a tip tackle on Puma's captain Felipe Contepomi and will face a disciplinary hearing in Auckland on Monday.
The defeat left Georgia in fourth place in Pool B, while England and Argentina progressed from the group.
The result also meant that Scotland were eliminated from the competition.
