Adam Ashe and Ryan Grant are named in Scotland's starting XV for this weekend's Six Nations clash against Ireland at Murrayfield.

Scotland have made two changes to the side for this weekend's final Six Nations match against Ireland at Murrayfield.

Vern Cotter's men are battling to avoid picking up the wooden spoon having lost all four of their previous matches in this year's tournament.

Following the 25-13 defeat at the hands of England last time out, blindside flanker Adam Ashe and prop Ryan Grant have been promoted from the bench, with Robert Harley and Alasdair Dickinson dropping out.

Ireland are one of four teams still in contention to lift the Six Nations crown heading into the final round of fixtures, along with England, Wales and France.

Scotland team to face Ireland:

Stuart Hogg (Glasgow Warriors), Dougie Fife (Edinburgh), Mark Bennett (Glasgow Warriors), Matt Scott (Edinburgh), Tommy Seymour (Glasgow Warriors), Finn Russell (Glasgow Warriors), Greig Laidlaw (Gloucester), Ryan Grant (Glasgow Warriors), Ross Ford (Edinburgh), Euan Murray (Glasgow Warriors), Jim Hamilton (Saracens), Jonny Gray (Glasgow Warriors), Adam Ashe (Glasgow Warriors), Blair Cowan (London Irish), David Denton (Edinburgh)

Replacements: Fraser Brown (Glasgow Warriors), Alasdair Dickinson (Edinburgh), Geoff Cross (London Irish), Tim Swinson (Glasgow Warriors), Rob Harley (Glasgow Warriors), Sam Hidalgo-Clyne (Edinburgh), Greig Tonks (Edinburgh), Tim Visser (Edinburgh)
