Versatile South African back Francois Steyn could miss the rest of the World Cup with a shoulder injury.
The 24-year-old sustained the injury during yesterday's 13-5 win over Samoa in Auckland.
"He is 95% sure that he is on his way home and that is a big blow for us," coach Peter de Villiers confirmed to a progress.
Steyn become the youngest player to ever win the World Cup when South Africa defeated England in the final four years ago.
