Former Kobelco Steelers and New South Wales Waratahs back-row Rocky Elsom is reportedly close to joining French outfit Toulon.
The 30-year-old will undergo a medical at the club, according to a statement on the club's official website, before signing a short-term contract.
"If the medical is successful, then the player will sign with Toulon," the statement read.
Elsom was capped 75 times for Australia, while he won the Heineken Cup with Leinster in 2009.
