Lions head coach Warren Gatland has suggested that players involved in the latter stages of the French Top 14 season are unlikely to be named in his squad.
It had been suggested that Toulon's Jonny Wilkinson could make the party for the summer tour of Australia, but the French domestic cup final is due to be played on the same day that the Lions face the Barbarians.
"We would really want all the party to travel out together as one. We are not really thinking outside the box for anyone at the moment," Gatland told reporters at a press conference.
Wilkinson's club side currently lead the Top 14 table.
