Wales have been dealt a blow with the news that Liam Williams may not be fit enough to return before the Six Nations.
The Scarlets utility back battled to be fit for the World Cup after undergoing surgery on his foot, and after earning a spot in the squad, the 24-year-old suffered another setback when he re-injured the same foot in the Pool A defeat to Australia at the weekend.
"I believe it's an issue with the screw in the same foot, so there'll be a surgery," Scarlets coach Wayne Pivac told reporters in response to how long Williams would take to get back on the pitch.
"He'll be out, I would say, for a number of months as opposed to weeks."
Rhys Webb and Leigh Halfpenny will also miss the 2016 Six Nations due to the injuries they sustained in the final World Cup warm-up game against Italy last month.
